brumscifisoc | Week 7 - Robin of Sherwood

Hello everyone,

For this week's event we'll be watching Robin of Sherwood.
Don't worry it isn't the current BBC version. Robin of Sherwood was produced in the 80s and is arguably a definitive version of the Robin Hood legend, which has influenced later film and television portrayals of England's favourite folk hero.

We're in Mandela from 7pm and will start at 7:30. Apparently some ex-boybander is coming to the Guild that night too and so everyone has to be in by 8pm or they'll start charging admission to get into the building.

Lunchtime Socials are as usual in CR5. On Wednesday we'll have information about the elcetions and all the candidates. So if you don't know who's who, what's what, or even that there was an election come along and we'll explain it as easily as possible.

On Friday 9th March some Rock soc people are holding a Red Dwarf night 6:30-11pm in Thompson Training Suite (other side of CR5) only £1.50.
