Hey everybody,
This Wednesday we're watching some brand new TV shows that are coming over here from the US.
Heroes is incredibaly popular, challenging Lost in the ratings, it became the latest SF show to get huge mainstream appeal. It's UK debut is on the Sci-fi channel this month and apparently it's been optioned by BBC2.
The Dresden Files, based on popular books by Jim Butcher, is a gritty PI series set in a Chicago's supernatural underworld. The show will be starting on Sky One this month as well.
As usual we'll be in Mandela from 7pm, and will start watching at 7:30.
Lunchtime Socials as ever are 1-2pm in CR5 (Rosa parkes) on Wednesday and Friday.
Our Rocky Horror Night is on Thursday 22nd in Beorma Bar from 7:30, entry only £1. There are still plenty of tickets, you can buy them at meetings or on the door. There'll be a costume competition, a working bar and a lot of fun to be had by all!
See you there,
Cathy
