tj-dragon.livejournal.comSci-fi soc have been invited to a quiz with the Brum SF Group.
I think most of the people on this community know who they are and what they do. If you don't please speak up cos you're presumably a new person.
Anyway...
The Quiz is on Fri 9th Nov at the Britannia Hotel on New Street, doors open 7:30 for 8pm start. Admission is only £3 and the hotel has a licensed bar.
People will be meeting at University station from 7:10 and should be at New Street by 7:30.
Don't worry about how much you know, we mixed the groups together last time to balance out the teams. And if last year's anything to go by they know more about books but we know more about TV and film. That said there were only about 4 of us last year so if we could get a few more people along that'd be great.
Also look out for the Xmas Social in December, ask anyone who's been before it's always a lot of fun. :)
